-Episodes: There will be around 44 episodes set up in the same format as last season. With 28 summer episodes starting July 18th airing from Monday-Thursday, with a replay of all four on Friday.
-New characters: Imogen Moreno (Cristine Prosperi), Katie Matlin (Chloe Rose), Jake Martin (Justin Kelly). Half way through the seasons, at the end of the Summer telenovela, the Grade Twelves will graduate and a new set of freshmen will be introduced. The graduating class will NOT be followed into their college years.
-New promo: It will be released May 30th closely resembling the ‘Shark in the Water’ promo from last year.
-Current Characters: Declan Coyne isn’t going to be regularly starring, but he won’t be dying. Marisol Lewis will be becoming more prevalent in episodes, as Katie’s best friend. More of Fitz will be seen, along with other recurring characters will be present.
-Possible storylines: The spring break episodes, which will launch the season off, will be focused primarily on Bianca and Drew, with a guest appearance from Keke Palmer. One male student will face shoplifting, a female will be confronted with cocaine, and another (most likely Clare) will be forced to face fighting parents. Jake and Clare are said to have a connection as well as Eli and Imogen. Fiona will get a new, stable love interest. More transgender issues, involving Adam, will be explored.

NEW DEGRASSI SEASON 11 NEWS!
As many of you know, season 11 is getting underway at Degrassi HQ. The cast was back this week for read-throughs and an orientation with the new cast. And from what weve heard, filming is expected to begin next Monday (March 14th).
We havent received much in terms of season 11 spoilers yet. However, last monthTheTVAddict.comleaked 4 newcharacter descriptions. Tonight, they revealed more season 11 casting news in their Ask The Addict column. New information suggests that Rileys coming out storyline is far from over, with lots more family drama to come. It looks like we will be meeting Rileys father next season, along with a new girl currently named Athena. Heres what The TV Addict had to say:
